high performance
In partnership with the University of Southern California Clinical Exercise Research Center, we bring research-level physiological testing to athletes of all levels enabling all to train and perform to their maximum potential.

Research-Level Testing
Utilizing testing equipment not commercially available to those outside the science community, we offer research level testing for ultimate accuracy.
-
Unprecedented Knowledge
All our testing is completed by graduate-level research scientists from one of the top sports science programs in the world.
-
Science-Based Training
Science Based training is all the rage, but it can only help you if the data you base your training on is accurate. Our technology and clinicians are the very best and provide data you can trust.
-
Working together
We not only provide testing, but we help both you and your coach know exactly what your data means. Knowing your numbers only helps if you know what to do with the data.
Which Test is for you?
-
Both Cycling and Running Tests are offered. Did you know most threshold tests and predictors overestimate your threshold? This leads to overtraining and poor performances. Discover your true training zones!
-
A key measurement for aerobic fitness, a properly executed V02 Max test will reveal your body can intake, deliver, and use oxygen per minute during exercise.
A V02 Bike Ramp Test - maximal aerobic capacity test with increasing bike intensity until exertion.
V02 Max Treadmill Ramp Test - Maximal aerobic capacity test with progressing running intensity until exertion.
-
Throw away those 20 minute threshold tests and get serious about your true Threshold Power. Accurately defining your training zones helps both you and your coach plan your training to get the best performance possible.
-
Critical Power is the highest workload you can sustain without using your anaerobic reserve, and research papers often consider this workload that an athlete can sustain "indefinitely."
-
This test is used to more accurately define how much workload you can sustain over time. In other words, a much better way to know your race pace! This is excellent information to provide to your coach.
-
Resting metabolic rate is the total number of calories burned when your body is completely at rest. It’s important because improving your resting metabolic rate can help you live healthier and longer. People with higher RMR have more lean muscle on their body. This means that there's a lower body fat percentage, which decreases the risk of heart disease, heart attack, diabetes, and high blood pressure.
-
A Dexa scan gives a detailed snapshot of your body composition, including how your body weight breaks down into fat, bone and lean tissue.
Quantify every change you make with the combination of Aero Testing and Metabolic Testing. We can simultaneously measure both to absolutely understand what each change means to your performance. Only ERO can do this!
put it all together
Combining Aero Testing with Metabolic Testing means we can measure both the aerodynamic and metabolic cost of every change we make. Not only will you know what change is more or less aerodynamic, you’ll also know which might be more metabolically efficient. Once this information is put together, we know exactly which changes will give you the best overall performance.
